FAQ
    • An essential storytelling role: You are not just a spectator; you are a central dramatic presence.

    • No wandering required: Unlike other immersive shows, you do not move through a maze-like environment.

    • You are our scene partners: Audience members speak lines directly to the cast and shape the character in real-time.

    • Driven by your authentic feelings: The story changes based on the genuine emotions you bring to the room.

    • Every single night is different: Each crowd creates a completely unique, unrepeatable theatrical event.

    • Participation is entirely optional. You can choose your preferred comfort level when you buy tickets.

    • Join the collective Hamlet: Choose this option to actively voice the text and interact with the cast.

    • Choose non-participatory seating: Select these designated seats to simply sit back, watch, and enjoy the production.

    • No acting background is required. You do not need to be a trained actor or have any performance experience.

    • No memorization is necessary. The professional ensemble acts as Facilitators to guide you through the action.

    • You will be prompted. The cast will feed you lines clearly and naturally as the story progresses.

    • Come as you are. No previous knowledge of Shakespeare's Hamlet is needed to participate.

    • You get to speak Hamlet's text. You will deliver the prince's lines directly to the other characters.

    • The cast reacts to you in real-time. Other characters look at you, address you, and treat you as the prince.

    • Your delivery shapes the show. The exact way you show up and speak transforms the energy of each unique performance.

    • Authenticity over performance. All you need to do is remain present and express whatever real emotions surface—like grief, love, or indecision.

  • Becoming Hamlet is recommended for ages 10+.

  • Becoming Hamlet runs approximately 100 minutes with no intermission.
